Edith (Edie) Weiner is President of Weiner, Edrich, Brown, Inc., a consulting company formed in 1977. She is acknowledged as one of the most influential practitioners of social, technological, political and economic intelligence-gathering. WEB has served over 300 clients in the corporate, academic and government sectors regarding the identification of opportunities in the areas of marketing, product development, strategic planning, investments, human resources, public affairs and advertising. Clients have ranged from the U.S. Congress to many Fortune 500 members corporate giants such as ARCO, AT&T, Edison Electric Institute, 3M, The Fragrance Foundation, Hoffmann-LaRoche, NYNEX, Pepsico, J.C. Penney, Bell Canada, Prudential and United Airlines.

She has co-authored four books with her partner, Arnold Brown: FUTURE THINK: How To Think Clearly in a Time of Change (2006); Insiders's Guide to the Future (1997); Office Biology (1993) and Supermanaging (1984). Her articles have appeared in numerous publications, including Harvard Business Review, the Futurist, Planning Review, the Insurance Gold Book, Best's Review and Association Management (where she co-authored a regular column with Mr. Brown).
In addition, she has been a guest lecturer at Wharton, Harvard, Brown and a number of other universities. Other speaking appearances have been before thousands of attendees at hundreds of conferences. She has made numerous TV and radio appearances.
Currently, Edie serves on numerous Boards, including First UNUM Corp., the Jose~ Limon Dance Foundation and the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. In the past, she was on the Boards of CompUSA and the Fashion Group International, among others. She served on the American Marketing Association's Presidential Panel on Marketing in the Year 2000 and edited the book that resulted: Marketing 2000 and Beyond. Edie is a member of the Women's Forum and was the first recipient of the Fashion Group International's Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 1998.
